Use fertilizer as a seed fertilizer with caution

1. Fertilizers with a corrosive effect on seeds should not be used as fertilizer. Ammonium bicarbonate is corrosive and volatile. It contains free sulfuric acid and carbonic acid for calcium phosphate. Both of them have a strong corrosive effect on seeds, so they should not be used as seed fertilizers. If it must be used as a seed fertilizer, contact with the seed should be avoided. Ammonium bicarbonate can be applied under the sowing ditch (hole), separated from the seed by a certain soil layer, or mixed with superphosphate and earth-mixed fertilizer.

2. Fertilizers containing chloride ions should not be used as fertilizers. Fertilizers such as potassium chloride and ammonium chloride contain chloride ions. When applied to the soil, they produce water-soluble chlorides. They are harmful to seed germination and seedling growth. Potassium nitrate and other fertilizers contain nitric acid. Root ions are also not suitable for seed dressing.
