How to prevent the lodging of wheat

Lodging is one of the major obstacles to wheat production under high fertilizer and water conditions. In recent years, the popularization and application of plant growth regulators in wheat production has opened up a new way to prevent lodging and promote yield increase, and is an important supporting technical measure for high yield and stable production of wheat. Spraying paclobutrazol: In the initial stage of wheat jointing, spraying 200ppm paclobutrazol solution per acre for 30kg can make the plant dwarf, increase lodging resistance, and can also treat wheat powdery mildew and increase nitrogen absorption and utilization of plants. Application of Uniconazole: Uniconazole (code s-3307, commercial product is 5% wettable powder) is a new and efficient plant growth regulator, and its biological activity is 6 to 10 times higher than that of paclobutrazol. Application on wheat can prevent plant lodging under high density and high fertilizer conditions, and it can reduce the effect of reducing infertility spikelets and increasing grain weight; according to the experiment, the application of uniconazole in the case of no wind or lodging. Wheat yielded an average of 15.4% more than the control. The method of application is: within one week before the jointing of wheat, 30-50 ppm of uniconazole solution is sprayed in an area of 50 mu. Spraying chlormequats: For wheat fields with large populations and strong growth potential, spray 0.15-0.3% chlormequat solution 50-75 kg per mu at the beginning of jointing, which can effectively inhibit internode elongation, make the plants dwarf, and the base of stems become thicker. Hard, so as to prevent lodging; if mixed with 2,4-d butyl ester, it can also treat broad-leaved weeds. Spraying auxiliaries: In the jointing stage of wheat, use 15-20 ml per mu, and spray 50-60 kg of foliar to prevent internode elongation, prevent late lodging, and increase production by 10-20%. .
