Using Tenebrios to Domesticate Wild Astragalus

At present, the technology for large-scale seed production of Astragalus membranaceus is not yet mature, and artificially-cultivated seed mainly comes from the wild. The use of live baits to acclimate Astragalus membranaceus feeding compound feed can effectively reduce feed costs, ensure comprehensive nutrition, facilitate mixing additives and produce baits, and is one of the key links in artificial breeding of Astragalus membranaceus. Many farmers use cut-off fleas to acclimate, mainly using the special odor of fleas to stimulate jaundice to feed, but they tend to be unproductive and troublesome to operate, especially in soil culture. Astragalus has a well-developed lateral line and has the largest role in the feeding process, followed by taste, smell, and touch and vision. Therefore, the live fleas taken during domestication are best motivated in the water and have a long survival time. The individuals are also small and need not be cut off. Tenebrio has the above advantages. Its production method is simple. It can survive for 2-3 hours when it sinks to the bottom. The insects that float on the water (such as freshly fleshed insects that float through water plants) can survive for more than 4-5 hours. The body of the insect is constantly wriggling in the water, the water bottom and the water surface, and it can stimulate the jaundice to feed. In particular, the excrement discharged from Astragalus membranaceus after eating is partly unobsessed and floats on the surface of the water, making it easier to observe whether the Astragalus membranaceus feeds. This is particularly important in aquaculture. The specific method of operation is described as follows: Before domestication, the yellow bark is hungry for 2-3 days to adapt it to the surrounding environment, and then in the evening, a small amount of tenebrio (including cut off insects and live insects) is put in the four corners. After starting to ingest Tenebrio, domestication can begin. On the first day, the animals are fed with 4/5 insects (including a small amount of cut worms) and 1/5 compound feed (can use squid compound feeds or self-made feeds), and the total amount is about 1% of the fish's body weight (if the temperature Low, feeding amount can also be reduced, generally should be more than 20 °C domestication), the next day to 3/5 parasites and 2/5 compound feed, the third day to cast 2/5 parasites and 3/5 compound feed ..., so five days or so can be changed to feed. It is worth noting that due to changes in temperature, management practices, etc., which may affect the domestication process, the acclimation time may be 10 days or more. Therefore, domestication must be patient until it is successful.

A Heating Pad is a pad used for warming of parts of the body in order to manage pain. Localized application of heat causes the blood vessels in that area to dilate, enhancing perfusion to the targeted tissue.

Heating pad is used for soothing painful joints & sore muscles & promote blood circulation in the form of heat therapy. Normally it is regulated by a controller with 3-4 heat settings.
