Apply 40% pentachloronitrobenzene at a rate of 9 to 10 grams per square meter. Mix it thoroughly with 4.0 to 4.5 kilograms of fine soil, and water the bed completely before sowing. Once the water has been absorbed, take one-third of the treated soil and spread it on the surface. Sow the seeds, then cover them with the remaining two-thirds of the medicated soil, ensuring that the seeds are sandwiched between layers of soil. This method can achieve over 90% disease prevention effectiveness. Alternatively, you can use 3 grams per square meter of pentachloronitrobenzene, captan, or zineb mixed into 1.5 liters of water and spray the soil bed to control and prevent diseases. After the seedlings emerge, you can apply 58% mancozeb wettable powder diluted 500 times, or 75% chlorothalonil wettable powder diluted 600 times, or 40% pentachloronitrobenzene diluted 500 times, or 64% oxadixyl wettable powder diluted 500 times. Spray every 7 to 10 days, and repeat 1 or 2 more times depending on the disease condition. Always ensure proper coverage and follow safety guidelines when handling chemical treatments.
