Tilapia is an omnivorous fish and requires a certain amount of water in the aquaculture. The fertilization of aquaculture water is an important technical means for supplementing water body nutrients and improving water productivity. However, improper fertilization (referring to overdosing) can also result in deterioration of the aquaculture water quality and pollute the environment, resulting in the eutrophication of natural water bodies. Fertilization is mainly used for pond culture. Fertilizers include organic fertilizers and inorganic fertilizers. The organic fertilizers that are allowed to use include compost, manure, manure, green manure, biogas manure and fermented manure; the permitted inorganic fertilizers include urea, ammonium carbonate and superphosphate.
