Feed Source
The feed used in jet-flowing Fish farming is generally similar to that used in spray-type fish farming. However, due to the small body size, high water flow, and fast current speed in such systems, the feed must be processed into pellets or crumbles to prevent it from disintegrating. To ensure the feed remains intact, binding agents are often added. For example, tilapia feed typically consists of rice bran, soybean meal, and fish meal. In addition to these, green feeds like Qing Ping and Yu Ping are also provided daily to supplement their diet. Grass carp are usually fed with soybean cake, peanut meal, corn, rice bran, rice, and sugarcane bagasse. As for quail, their feed often includes fish meal, blood meal, and wheat flour.
Diet Formulas
1. Tilapia Diet Formula: Fish meal 10%, meat and bone meal 10%, soybean meal 35%, wheat bran 25%, dried tofu residue 20%. This balanced formula ensures proper growth and development while maintaining good health.
2. Grass Carp Diet Formula: 20% soybean cake, 35% wheat bran, 35% corn, 9.5% fish meal, and 0.5% salt. This combination provides a rich source of protein and energy, ideal for the omnivorous grass carp.
3. Cod Diet Formula: 20% fish meal, 20% soybean meal, 30% wheat flour, 15% corn, 5% rice, 0.5% vitamins, 1% bone meal, 6% color enhancer, 0.5% salt, and 2% trace elements. This formula supports optimal growth and enhances the natural coloration of the fish.
4. Eel Diet Formula: 40% fish meal, 10% blood meal, 20% wheat flour, 2% α-tocopherol, 2% minerals, 1% additional minerals, 5% yeast, and 4% multi-vitamin complex. This specialized mix meets the unique nutritional needs of eels, promoting strong immunity and efficient digestion.
