Valmet Tractor Failure Analysis Considerations

In recent years, the Agricultural Fourth Division has used the Finnish Government’s interest-free loan to purchase a batch of 8950 tractors from Finland's Valmet 8950 and 8550. Some problems with the use of partial Valmet tractors. Machine operators should pay attention to the following aspects when using, maintaining and maintaining:

1 main failures of locomotives

1 The girder fuel tank and the gearbox are welded to crack at the weld seam, leaking diesel oil or hydraulic transmission oil. 2 Early damage to the battery. 3 injector head burst. 4 The hydraulic lift arm breaks.

2 reasons analysis

(1) Cracking of fuel tank welds is mainly due to the fact that locomotives are suspended from agricultural equipment and are often driven on uneven roads, or rear-suspension agricultural implements are excessively heavy, causing excessive stress on locomotives' waists.

(2) The battery was not maintained during the long-term parking, the charging current of the locomotive was too large, the vent hole was blocked, the battery level was too low, and the electrolyte ratio was out of balance.

(3) Injection head burst, mainly due to high temperature gasification of diesel oil and burst. The oil tank should be cleaned, the oil-water separator should be put in place, and clean fuel must be filled.

(4) The rear-suspension implements are overweight, the implements are fully suspended, and the bumps are too large when the field is uneven.

3 use precautions

(1) It is forbidden for the tractor to stop and extinguish at the same time after heavy-duty and high-temperature work. The tractor should work for small and medium throttles for 3 to 5 minutes, and then turn off when the temperature is lowered.

(2) The small throttle is prohibited to work for a long time (less than 800r/min). The low throttle has a low working speed, low oil pressure, and poor lubrication. It is not good for turbochargers with high speed and high temperature rotation.

(3) It is forbidden to start the tractor with a cold throttle.

(4) Before the long-term parked tractor starts, it must fill the turbocharger with oil or idling the engine several times.

(5) Minimize the maintenance of the air filter. Do not use excessive air pressure to blow the air filter core.
