Seven Prevention and Treatment of Cold Damage to Tea Trees

1. Fertilizer wax. Low-age tea plants are relatively weak in cold resistance, and they must be re-applied once in the winter before they are applied in conjunction with earthworms. Fertilizer is mainly made up of soil miscellaneous fertilizers, manures, and biogas residues with a certain degree of thermal insulation, and a certain amount of cake fertilizer, superphosphate, and potassium sulfate fertilizer are also applied. The wax can not only play the role of heat preservation and antifreeze, but also enhance the antifreeze ability of tea tree. It can also lay a good foundation for the growth of tea plant in the coming year.
2. Earthworms. Preventing freezing of roots and necks is a key measure for freezing young tea plants. Therefore, before the winter of low-age tea plants, we should combine cultivating and weeding, earth-cultivation, and thickening the soil at the tree branches to ensure that the key parts of the tea tree are not frostbite.
3. Cover grass to prevent frost. Before the winter of low-old tea trees, the trees are covered with grass (thickness about 3 cm), and the canopy covers the shade nets and mulch, which can reduce the heat loss in the soil, increase the temperature of the tea garden, and reduce the frost invasion directly to the tea seedlings, thus enhancing the resistance of the tea tree. Frost ability.
4. Spray fertilizer antifreeze. Before the winter of low-old tea plants, with the dilution of the biogas slurry, Nagas 778, Cohen anti-reverse production agent, cold-resistant spraying spray and other leaf spray 1 or 2 times, can significantly improve its ability to withstand the cold winter.
5. Irrigation moisturizing. In dry years, low-aged tea plantations with droughty soil should rush to water (or apply diluted manure) to the tea gardens before the cold temperatures and cold waves arrive in winter to increase the humidity in the tea gardens. This will increase soil heat capacity and significantly reduce the damage to the tea garden.
6. Appropriate interplanting. In winter, interplanting broad beans, peas, radishes, etc. between low-young tea trees can effectively block the cold wind and reduce the freezing of young tea trees. In the coming year, it will be harvested earlier (in order not to affect the growth of tea seedlings), or a good green feed.
7. Smoke protection against freezing. Based on the above antifreeze measures, in the event of a strong cold wave, it is imperative to grab flammable materials such as sawdust, chaff, and turf before the onset of the cold wave, and disperse them in the tea plantation according to the terrain, landscape, and wind direction of the tea plantation. When the temperature drops to about 2°C, we choose to have no wind and clear evening and ignite all of them so that the smoke can be diffused. Using the "greenhouse effect" of smoke, we can reduce the radiation and loss of heat at night in tea gardens, and effectively reduce the cold wave and frost. The harm to young tea plants.
