Before feeding, corn flour should be soaked to soften it, making it easier for pigs to chew and digest. Soak the corn flour with 1 to 1.5 times its weight in water for about 2 hours before use. 7. Freshly ground corn should be fed promptly, as it tends to spoil quickly due to its high fat content. It’s best to use it within 10 to 15 days, especially during warmer months. Storing it for longer periods can lead to rancidity and loss of nutritional value.
